Indian spiritual heritage teaches us that true greatness lies in selfless service to humanity. The legendary sacrifice of Maharishi Dadhichi, who offered his very bones for the welfare of mankind, symbolizes the highest form of dedication. Inspired by such noble ideals, a group of visionary citizens in Sirsa resolved nearly five decades ago to fight the modern-day “demons” — disease, suffering, and helplessness.

Their mission was clear: to establish an institution that would combine social responsibility with affordable, ethical, and high-quality medical care. From that sacred vision emerged the Janta Welfare Trust, which today stands as a pillar of hope and healing for thousands.

From a Seed of Service to a Mighty Institution

On 9th August 1967, fifteen respected citizens laid the foundation of the Welfare Trust, each contributing ₹200 with faith and determination. What began as a small initiative rooted in compassion has today grown into a strong and expansive banyan tree of service.

Under the Trust, Janta Hospital and Janta Bhawan now operate as major centers of healthcare and community welfare.

The 100-bed modern Janta Hospital functions under the dynamic leadership of Administrator Raj kumar Kamra, whose forward-thinking approach has consistently kept the institution aligned with evolving medical advancements.
